My Saturday

I took the day off today. I decided that since I'm going to have the whole of next week to catch up on my back logged work, so I might as well enjoy the weekend. My day started at 8 am. I know it may sound a little early to most people but this is latest I ever woke up in weeks, even on previous weekends. To come to think of it, this is the firs time in weeks that I did not need to go to college on a weekend.
So, I got up, read the newspapers and had a hearty breakfast. Then, I took a shower. A very long one. For some reason, I seem to spend ages in the bathroom. Must be the water.
After that, I spent a little time doing what I love to do most. Reading. I managed to read through some intellectually stimulating material, packed with very good English for a good hour or so. While reading about the destruction plaguing the Amazon Forest, mom asked me to follow her to go shopping. Provisions. This really got on my nerves as I was really getting into the article. But what choice else do I have? So I drove there, did the shopping in a trolley that had broken wheels. I was rather fortunate that I did not slam into other people or things as the trolley had a tendency to stray to the left.
Then I got back, had a massive lunch comprising of vegetables, chicken and rice. After lunch, I read some F1 Racing. A couple of hours later, I went to the gym. Yes ladies and gentlemen, for about a couple weeks now, two actually, I have been on a strict fitness regime. Which includes eating like a boar and working out like hell.
And after all that was done, I went to sticker station to pay the deposit for the Music Fest T-Shirt.
Well, that's about my day so far. Nothing interesting.

Waisted And Bruised

To be loved, or to be wasted?
To resist, or to be abused?
I swear I'll never give in,
For I shall fight,
In your honor,
I shall fight.
But today, I shall wave the white flag,
High above my head.
For in this mess,
I lay wasted and bruised.
Broken and shattered.
Victorious and defeated.

Last Words On Valentines

The last person I spoke to on Valentines night was an ex crush of mine. Ironic? Maybe. But I regret having said goodbye so soon. For the ambers have not died out yet. All it needs is a little gush of wind and a little bit more fuel. Who knows what might have happened if only I had not waited a few days.

Valentino

My valentine,
Always like before.
A slight splash of red,
Never comes across me.

My valentine,
Filled with bouques of papers.
Filled with boxes of carbon and ink.
Sweet chocolates, Red roses,
A distant dream.

But I shall look forward.
For four years ago,
My guitar was born.
It is now three.

Happy valentine's
My dear Schecter

The Rose Of Eternity

The rose of eterinity,
The rose of hope.
The rose never fades,
The rose will never die.

Through the storm,
It will live.
Through the desert,
Its roots grow strong.

The rose of eternity,
Forever red.
The rose of eternity,
Forever lush.

Tonight I sleep in peace.
Tonight I dream of you.
Maybe next year,
I wouldn't be so lonely.
When everyone else dresses in red,
I shall join them.

Paths

It doesn't matter if the skies had wings or if the earth had roots, I will still find my way in this ever confusing maze of unknown paths.

Asking for more MCQ's is like putting yourself in a straightjacket then dangling yourself over a high cliff with a volcanic and rocky base to choose from.

Stupidty is inborn. But you can always choose to get out of it. But too bad, you are just too stupid to realise this fact.

If we had not put in effort, we would not have bothered mrching into your office.
