She told me not to give up. She said I can do it. But it may take more time then I expected.
Just last week, I was really mad at her for going back on her word. But apparently she did so with a purpose. I know that I face a mountain in which I may or may not conquer the peak. But at least, before I concede, let me try. It may do me more harm than it may do me good. But at least, I will know at last that I did not quit or give up halfway through the journey. At least I'll know that I went down kicking and screaming.

Crossroads
Just a few weeks ago, I felt like superman. But today, I feel like a loser. Sometimes I ask myself, did I really choose the wrong steps? Where did all the passion that I use to have gone to? Is it really worth quitting for? Maybe its a blessing in disguise. Maybe its a sign telling me how stupid I am and how much of a loser I can be. Maybe its telling me that my strengths lay elsewhere nd I am not one with the so called family.
Where do I seek advice? Where can I test myself to see whether or not this is just a phase that everybody passes through?
I'm at a crossroad and I don't know which way to turn. I don't want to spend huge amounts of money and only live to regret it. I want to make the right choice. Not a choice of passion, not an impulsive one and certainly not one made to please others. I want to make a choice butressed by numbers, statistics, facts and most importantly, truth.
Not everyone will be happy with the choice I may make. But thats only secondary.

You
You held my hands when the nights were cold.
You kept me close when everything else was falling apart.
You gave me your ears when everyone else turned away.
You gave me your courage, when mine had dried.
You held me high with your bear hands.
You kept me standing when my legs could't walk.
You sang me to sleep when he nights were dull.
For everything that you have done for me,
I can ever thank you enough.
Old men always say,
Debts of gold can be paid in gold,
Debts of love can only be paid with blood.
Perhaps someday, I may find the blood to pay with.

The Boring Holiday
So here I am, once again, blogging about Chinese New Year. And by god, chinese new year is by far the most boring holiday a person like me can ever have. This year is so much worse. Well here's why.
1. All my friends are gone!!
2. I have tonnes of studying to do!! Been studying sice morning!!
3. Every single shop is closed.
4. Do I even qualify for Ang Pau hunting?
5. I can't get up any later than 8.
So there you have it folks. My reasons as for why Chinese New Year is the most boring holiday for me.

Another Horrific Crash
Another crash for you. I remember this race vividly. It was Spa 2001. Everybody thought that Luciano Burti was dead. I thought so too. How could any person survive something like that? Crashing into a tyre wall at over 180 miles per hour.
The reason he did survive was because of excellent trackside safety, a good medical team, Eddie Irvine who can be seen rushing out of his stricken Jaguar to help Burti, and most importantly, a very rigid car.
Now, do you think your car can handle that? Something that is not even 1% the strength of that Prost Acer? I know mine can't. So don't speed for god sake. Even if you want to, understand the fundementals of speeding and the risks that go along with it.
Crashes
To the naked eye, it doesn't look scary. But if you consider that, every single one of those cars were rapidly accelerating towards F1's most challenging corner, Eau Rouge, at speeds of over 100 miles an hour, it was fortunate no one got killed.
Now, you think that you want to emulate those acts during the festive season, I wish you good luck. Just make sure that your car is made from carbon fibre monocoque and is equipped with FIA standard safety systems.
I know my BMW, Naza or Storm isn't.
But this is how the race ended anyhow. If you have the forbearance to watch.
Happy Chinese New Year
Since today is Chinese New Year, I thought that it would be rather neat to dedicate this post to all my chinese friends and also to those who do celebrate Chinese New Year. So, Happy Chinese New Year one and all.Afterall, it was you guys who turned me into a coconut with the fillings of a banana. All I need to do now is to learn the language.
But anyways, I hope the year brings a whole lot of prosperity and rocking good times and not to forget, lots and lots of cash, in the form of ang pau's. And don't forget to donate some to me!! A glass of hot or cold chinese tea would do...hehe. So enjoy the week off and have tonnes of fun. Remember to drive safe k. I don't wanna hear or read of any unwanted cases. Cya
