Gloom

Tears fall down from the darkened sky as I slowly open my eyes to comprehend all this darkness that surrounds my welcome into the day. I hear the patter of rain striking the exposed roof as I slowly bring myself up to begin my day. The cold of the wind biting through my bones, imploring me to get me back to bed, back to sleep. But as hard as it tried, I would have none of that. There were more important things to accomplish. I had some history to learn. I had some lessons to write and I had some light to see. But here I am now, on a day fit for the most depressing ending of a soap opera, putting together words that I do not have any intention for at all. But maybe there is and even if there is, the reason for it is beyond me. I have no understanding of it. But even so, why bother?

The hour is 1700 and the same gloominess that greeted me when I woke up is still ever so present. I wonder, why should it go on when it can stop? Yes, it set the mood for my book and yes it coaxed me into a nap but does it have to go on into the evenings when all one needs is a little bit of sunshine?

Perhaps the gloom is here for a reason. What that reason is, I can never be sure for unlike me there must be many out there deeply in need of this gloom to understand their aching hearts. Something must have gone wrong. But what? The answer to that is beyond me as well. Just like the triumphs in the book that I have yet to finish.

The Greates Invention

If I were to be asked what is the greates invention of them all, my answer wil go to the one thing which has enlightened so many, brought upon so many revolutions, educated the ignorant, discussed the past, became the messanger for those who have no voice and has become an instrument to maintaining secrecy during times of war. That invention is the book. And with that, I will sign off to enjoy the two new books that I have acquired. Adios

Another Lonely Day

Yes indeed, I'm alone again.
And here comes emptiness crashing in.
It's either love or hate,
I can't find in between,
'cause I've been with witches and I've been with a queen.

It wouldn't have worked out anyway.
So now it's just another lonely day.
Further along we just may.
But for now it's just another lonely day.

Wish there was something now I could say or do.
I can resist anything but the temptation from you.
But I'd rather walk alone than chase you around.
I'd rather fall myself than let you drag me on down.

It wouldn't have worked out anyway.
And now it's just another lonely day.
Further along we just may.
But for now, it's just another lonely day.

Yesterday seems like a life ago,
'cause the one I love today, I hardly know,
You I held so close in my heart, Oh dear,
Grow further from me with every fallen tear.

It wouldn't have worked out anyway.
So now it's just another lonely day.
Further along we just may.
But for now it's just another lonely day.
For now it's just another lonely day.
For now it's just another lonely day

Play Me To Sleep

They say that music can alter moods, swing them one way or another. I say that music creates the mood. It tells you what to feel and when to feel it. Right now, it tells me to keep bending till I can't bend anymore. It coaxes me to forgive and to forget all those who have made you evaporate with anger while driving on roads infested with subhuman users. The blues, god bless the blues, god bless BB King, god bless Eric Clapton, god bless them all for the blues is what keeps the blues away. It gives you euphoria. A sense of calm happines and high only attainable by the intoxicating effects of weed. God bless Ben Harper, god bless red fm, your songs teach me so much about love that I refused to step out of the car, I want to keep listening to you for it gives me a sense of escape no other music gives me. Mellow and smooth, you keep me driving slow, appreciating the fact that I can take all the time in the world to appreciate the beauty that surrounds me. Allowing me to appreciate the fact that thoughts are indeed a wonderful thing and happy memories should last forever. Ahh, I feel so light that I feel like flying with the wind. Letting its gentle breeze blow past me and lift me away. God bless Carlos Santana, I feel you bending and soloing your way in me, making me smile a lopsided smile. All I want to do is pick up a guitar and join you. Clenching my fists, how I wish it were true. Play me to sleep.

This Game

I can still feel your lips gracing mine. Scary, how I get caught in this wilderness where wild is an understatement and everything seems to exist. Perhaps I should just keep my excitement in check. Expectations are always the root of disappointments. Who am I to feel no less? Afterall, I alwaye have and you never had. Why put me on a rollercoaster when you know I won't surive it? I never really understood this game, but I think that its about time I did. But how can I, when there is only one player left?

His championship was confirmed in a fashion no other world championship had ever been confirmed. He won a title so spectacularly that one has to go back into the 1980's to even find something as similar as the 2007 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. But enough of typing. Here's the summary of his gloriuos F1 career in videos.

Lenny

I had the longest sleep that I ever had all year today. Want to know how many hours I slept for? Eleven. I slept for eleven and a half hours. I don't usually sleep that long but I was really tired after the gang and I had all crashed at Leonard's place tow days ago. It was so much fun that we didn't even sleep the entire night. At one point I completely lost track of time, so I asked Nickie for the time. And when he relpied 4 AM, I was shocked because I figured that it was still 11pm or something. But I will bring you pictures as soon as I am able to. I would like to say though that the night pictures yurned up much better than the ones from Penang thanks to Jon's lesson on photography. It was not the best, but certainly a marked improvement.
