Beggars and Hangers-on

This one goes out to all you Slash junkies.

Well I know, you couldn't love me
Cause you're promised to a
wealthy man
Take a look, what are you seein'?
Is that a noose or a wedding band

Should I go to see a healer
Nervous twitchin' in my hands
Nervous twitchin' in my head

God help me rid this feelin'
Cause I'm fallin' all to pieces
And I can't get out of bed

Beggars and hangers-on
Try to take you from me
Someone with a Bible in his pocket
Clouding everything you see
Beggars and hangers-on
They chip it away
Bury your soul in the river
Cause the end is here to stay

God help me rid this feelin'
Cause I'm fallin' all to pieces
And I can't get out of bed

I was wrong
I don't need you
It seems reckless
And unfair
Better days
Are far behind
Guess that's another cross
I'll have to bear

I know that there's a time
and a reason
To take the ghost and lock it up inside
And maybe I am down
But I'm not beaten
Like anything
We were born to die

Beggars and hangers-on
Try to take you from me
Someone with a Bible in his pocket

Clouding everything you see
Beggars and hangers-on
They chip it away
Bury your soul in the river
Cause the end is here to stay
Beggars and hangers-on
Beggars and hangers-on
No no no no
No no no no
No no no no

That's How I Am

That's how I am...Unforgiving on the inside, but an expounder of hundreds of chances on the outside. A softie. But for what? For idiots who step all over you and put everything on your shoulders just because you were nice? It's time I start taking charge of what is mine and shoot the speed bumps away. But at what cost?

The trouble with being the leader amongst your friends is that, you are just not allowed to blow your top off and say what you have to in order to make a project succesfull. Or at least, that's what I think. Someone, change me please.

Cryin'

There was a time
When I was so brokenhearted
Love wasn't much, of a friend of mine
The tables have turned, yeah
'Cause me and them ways have parted
That kind of love, was the killin' kind
All I want, is someone I can't resist
I know all need to know by the way that I got kissed

I was cryin' when I met you
Now I'm tryin to forget you
your Love is sweet, misery
I was cryin' just to get you
Now I'm dyin' 'cause I let you
Do what you do-down on me

Now there's not even breathin' room
Between pleasure and pain
Yeah you cry when we're makin love
Must be one and the same

It's down on me
Yeah, I got to tell you one thing
It's been on my mind
Girl I gotta say
We're partners in crime
You got that certain something
What you give to me
Takes my breath away
Now the word out on the street
Is the devil's in your kiss
If our love goes up in flames
It's a fire I can't resist

I was cryin' when I met you
Now I'm tryin to forget you
your Love is sweet misery
I was cryin' just to get you
Now I'm dyin' 'cause I let you
Do what you do down on me

'Cause what you got inside
Ain't where your love should stay
Yeah, our love, sweet love, ain't love
'Till you give your heart away

I was cryin' when I met you
Now I'm tryin to forget you
Your Love is sweet misery
I was cryin' just to get you
Now I'm dyin' just to let you
Do what you do what you do down to me, baby, baby, baby

I was cryin' when I met you
Now I'm tryin to forget you
Your Love is sweet misery
I was cryin' when I met you
Now I'm dyin' 'cause I let you
Do what you do down to, down to, down to, down to

I was cryin' when I met you
Now I'm tryin to forget you
Your Love is sweet...
I was cryin' when I met you
Now I'm dyin' 'cause I let you
Do what you do down to, down to, down to, down to

Jaded

I used to listen to it everyday. I would play it over and over again that the words would start coming out my mouth without me even realizing it. A simple smile would come to my lips and my head would start bobbing up and down. Oblivious to the watching eyes of the world. But everytime I listen o it, I tend to feel a little lonely inside. Stopped by things I can't control, I gave up without even a hint of a fight. And now, I can only look back and regret. But maybe it was for a common good.
I don't listen to it very often these days. In fact, I can't remember the last time I did. But all I know is that I miss it and I want to listen to it again.
Why did you ever have to haunt me like this? You leave me jaded before my time.

To Be Honest,

I just got back from work, and I can safely say that I am extremely tired and I am extremely hungry. But looking back on my working experience, I find myself having so much to say about what it has been like working at a place where the demand for its products are way beyond even the most wildest predictions of any businessperson. And having known and visited Subang Parade for the past 20 years of my life, I can soundly conclude that no other tenant in the vicinity receives the huge amount of business that Big Apple does. Except maybe its anchor tenant, Parkson. For the owners, its a dream come true. But for the employees, its a living nightmare. I do not wish to exaggerate or anything but I do believe that I can't get any more wrong with my description. Personally, I do not mind offering my services to customers. In fact, I feel that it is an honor to be able to make someone's day a little easy on them. But when you factor in 6 hours of non stop walking under relatively harsh conditions, hours upon hours of repetitious work, colleagues who are just like the waves in the ocean and having to deal with customers who are annoying at best, you do start to doubt your willingness to continue. And personally, I am already doubting mine. But the only reason that I am continuing to work this job is because I really need to raise some money for my Grand Prix dreams which thankfully is just around the corner. After that, I do not see any reason to go on like this. Furthermore, as I go into March, I find myself having more and more reasons to stay away from work and abandon it for good. I have photographic assignments, examinations to deal with, jamming and the all important music fest to organize. But will I find myself doing that? I honestly don't know. But all I know is, one month from the start of my new job, I want to call it quits.

Things I Must Do In March

Movies that I must watch...

Wanted

Vantage Point

But at the same time, I have to save money to buy the Paddock ticket for the Malaysian GP.... RM1000 plus per head.

We have to kick arse in both gigs.

Oh well...
