Cruel Fate

Sometimes this world is a very cruel place to be in. Through all the good, it often deals people blows. Some of them simple ones while some of them complex ones. Shattering their dreams, their hopes, their lives. I really do not understand why is it when we have done no wrong, when we are innocent fate deals us such a horrific blow? Why? Why must it leave so many people to cry themselves to sleep every night? Why must it make people feel so hopeless and worthless? Why must it pull the carpet from right underneath their feet when they are in their prime? Why? Why? For heavens sake why? I just don't understand it. To have someone you know deal with so much in such a short space certainly makes you want to kick whatever is doing this right where it matters.
