Bullets

So, super Tuesday is finally over and the results are out. Unfortunately, Hillary Clinton holds a slim lead over Barack Obama by 582 delegates to 485 delegates. But the good part is that in the upcoming primaries in a few more states over the next couple of weeks, polls suggest that Obama has the upper hand. But at this stage of the race, any forms of speculation about a clear favorite for the Democratic nomination could be unwise. On the other hand, for the Republicans, John McCain has stamped his place as the clear favorite for the nomination.

But you know what, US elections aside, I had a good day. But too bad I won't be having as much fun as some of my Chinese friends who would be reuniting with their respective families for one heck of a good time. Not to mention the amount of good food that would be available for their consumption.

"It's difficult to try to change when no matter how hard or how smart you fight the battle, you still lose. And when everybody judges based on what you can't change you somehow start to see the ugly fangs of this world and then you ask yourself the question, "Is life still worth living?" Suddenly you find out that the answer is no. Life isn't. People tell you that they accept you but when the dust finally settles and when it matters most, you realize that they don't and that they feel ashamed, uncomfortable of you for reasons they can never justify. But let me tell you my friend, life isn't about meeting the expectations set for you by others but meeting the expectations that you set for yourself. Life isn't about what others have upon you but rather about what you have upon yourself. And for that alone, the journey should go on and never be stopped. A lone bullet to the head or a noose round the neck is never the answer. Running never solves anything, it only makes a problem seem far away but like a vicious cycle, it slaps you right when you least need it to. But when you can no longer live the way you want, sometimes a lone bullet to the head really is the answer. The ultimate sin."
